David R. Galloway joined Murrel R. Walters, III to start Walters & Galloway, PLLC in January 2014. Since his admission to the Bar of Pennsylvania in 2001, David has focused his practice on real estate transactions, estate planning, estate administration, business law and civil litigation with an emphasis on creditor’s rights and collections.
David is a Past-Chair of the Cumberland County Young Lawyers’ Division and is a current Board Member of the Cumberland County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the National Creditors Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Creditor’s Bar and also serves on the West Shore Young Professionals Advisory Board. He is admitted to practice in all courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle & Western Districts of Pennsylvania.
He is a 1996 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania where he received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In 2001, he earned the degree of Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. While at Dickinson, David was Editor-in-Chief of the Dickinson Journal of Environmental Law & Policy.
David is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Carlisle (now known as Leadership Cumberland), a ten-month program designed to effectively prepare individuals for community leadership involvement. Since graduating, he has been both a Board Member and a Past-Chair of the United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County and Leadership Cumberland. He is a past-president of Downtown Mechanicsburg Partnership, an organization devoted to preserving and promoting Mechanicsburg’s downtown.
David resides in Dillsburg with his wife Stephanie, daughter Maggie & son Levi.
